We are living in a year during which Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto are meeting in the heavens, which is very unusual.  From the earth's point of view, the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction takes place every 20 years, but the last time there was this kind of close mutual interplay with Pluto was 1285.  Our research has shown astonishing interconnections between these planetary interweavings, world events, and the 2020 election year.

This calendar year has been one of crisis in America, as well as around the world. It began with an impeachment trial of the United States president and the devastating global viral pandemic which led to the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression of 1929.  Just as serious are the pandemics of emotional upheaval and challenges to the very concept of truth.  This has given rise to widespread deceptions, disregard for medical and climate science, and the sowing of confusion around the security of our elections. Battles of many kinds roam the streets and the airwaves.  

As a contribution to better understanding the spiritual dimensions of the political drama currently underway, we will look at some perspectives provided by the planetary and zodiacal configurations unfolding during this election year. Our explorations will focus on the birth chart of America (providing a view of America’s destiny) in relation to current events.  In addition, we will examine the astrological chart of the upcoming election in relation to the birth charts of the two leading candidates. 

The crisis that election year 2020 presents is very much on the minds and in the hearts of many of us. This offering is intended as a contribution to each individual’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities at this time in America’s destiny, from the perspective and in the light of star wisdom.
